Software patents in medtech: boosting your growth as an SME
This online seminar aims to increase the understanding among decision-makers in start-ups and SMEs of the value of digital patents and IP strategies for the growth of their businesses.
Opportunities and challenges will be illustrated and discussed based on the experiences of Perceive3D, a spin-off of the University of Coimbra in the field of medical imaging.
Format:
2-hour free event comprising lectures, presentations, a panel discussion and a Q&A session. Participants will learn how IP management can help unleash the hidden potential of software-driven solutions.
Requirements:
Participants must be familiar with the basics of IP rights, particularly the general functioning of the patent system.
