El jueves, 12 de marzo, Navarrabiomed organiza, junto al Área de Salud de Tudela, la sesión “Perspectiva de Género en la investigación biomédica” en el Hospital Reina Sofía de Tudela. La jornada, en formato presencial y online, está dirigida a personal sanitario, investigador, estudiante y público interesado. No es necesaria inscripción previa.
Ponentes:
• Laura García Belío, técnica del Área transversal en dimensión de género inclusiva en I+D+i de Navarrabiomed.
• Silvia Romero Murillo, investigadora de la Unidad de Neuroproteómica clínica de Navarrabiomed.
Incorporar el enfoque de género conlleva, por una parte, reconocer y profundizar en cómo las diferencias biológicas (sexo) y las desigualdades sociales existentes entre mujeres y hombres (género), así como las situaciones específicas de las personas dentro de esos grupos, influyen e incluso condicionan su salud y su manera de enfermar y responder a los diferentes tratamientos en todas las etapas de su ciclo vital.
Por otra parte, incorporar el enfoque de género inclusivo contribuye a que la investigación sea de mayor calidad, más rigurosa, equitativa, justa y útil para todas las personas, con independencia de su condición de partida.
