Añadir al calendario 2021-10-01 02:00:00 2021-10-29 02:00:00 COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) Open call: Last days to submit your action proposal The European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) programme is the first and one of the largest European intergovernmental networks for the coordination of European scientific and technical research. Its objective is to strengthen scientific and technical research in Europe by funding the establishment of collaborative networks between researchers.  The tool used by the programme is the COST Actions, which are networks established on the initiative of researchers without pre-defined thematic priorities.  The selected projects will receive funding to carry out the activities previously established in the 4-year joint work programme, to carry out the following networking activities, such as: Scientific meetings of the Working Groups Workshops and Seminars Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) Training workshops and scientific conferences Dissemination activities COST calls are permanently open, with two cut-off dates per year.  Spain is one of the most active countries in COST, as it is currently involved in more than 300 actions, which makes it the third country with the highest number of participants. It has been awarded, in partnership with Nature, since 1995. The independent Eppendorf Award Jury chaired by Prof. Reinhard Jahn (Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen, Germany) is especially looking for creative talents who work independently with a strong focus on translating their research into practical findings for human medicine. This year´s winner was Dr. Tanmay Bharat, Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford, United Kingdom. Young researchers not older than 35 years, with an advanced degree, are invited to apply for the Eppendorf Award 2022. El objetivo de esta convocatoria es identificar e impulsar las iniciativas más prometedoras, de mayor excelencia científica y de mayor valor potencial e impacto social, tanto en investigación básica como en clínica o traslacional. Añadir al calendario 2021-09-03 02:00:00 2021-12-02 01:00:00 Call for applications for the Joint European Programme on Rare Diseases (EJP RD) is still open The Joint European Programme on Rare Diseases (EJP RD) is launching this call with the aim of fostering the exchange of knowledge on rare diseases and rare cancers between health professionals, researchers and patients. To this end, the call offers grants for the funding of events (workshops or conferences), aimed at: -Forming new research networks or expanding existing research networks. -Strengthen collaborations. -Enabling knowledge exchange. It is expected that, as a result of these events, new collaborative and innovative research in the field of rare diseases will be generated.  Although preference will be given to face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings will also be eligible given the current exceptional circumstances.  Application to this call will remain open on a rolling basis, with a review of applications every three months. The event must be held between 6 and 18 months after application.
