Horizonte Europa - Programa de trabajo clúster salud 2026
La Comisión Europea ha publicado las convocatorias del Clúster 1 en el ámbito de la salud de Horizonte Europa. El programa de trabajo 2026-2027 consta de un total de 38 topics (temáticas) para la financiación de proyectos de investigación e innovación, además de acciones de coordinación y apoyo, en diversas áreas de la salud.
La convocatoria del 2026 incluye 18 topics que se agrupan en seis Destinations (Destinos) diferentes:

Horizonte Europea - Programa de trabajo Misiones 2026-2027
La Comisión Europea ha publicado el Programa de Trabajo de las Misiones 2026-2027. El programa incluye convocatorias en diferentes ámbitos prioritarios para la Comisión, entre los que se encuentra Misión Cáncer.
El objetivo de Misión Cáncer es mejorar la vida de más de 3 millones de personas para 2030, mediante la prevención, la cura y, para quienes están afectados por el cáncer, incluyendo a sus familias, vivir más tiempo y con mejor calidad de vida. Para ello se financiarán proyectos de investigación e innovación, además de acciones de coordinación y apoyo, a través de diferentes topics:

La Caixa HealthCare Research 2026
La Fundación ”la Caixa” lanza la primera edición de la convocatoria para proyectos de investigación en promoción de la salud. El objetivo de esta convocatoria es identificar investigaciones que impulsen el diseño y la evaluación de intervenciones sanitarias en la promoción de la salud y la prevención de enfermedades.
Las propuestas presentadas deben:
Adoptar un enfoque aplicado a problemas de salud relevantes
Emplear metodologías rigurosas y validadas
Integrar, cuando sea pertinente, perspectivas de múltiples profesionales y disciplinas de investigación
Mostrar una vía clara hacia la escalabilidad
Las áreas de interés de la convocatoria incluyen, entre otras: salud mental, salud de la mujer, salud infantil y adolescente, nutrición y estilos de vida saludables, envejecimiento saludable y manejo de la cronicidad.
Las propuestas han de pertenecer a alguna de estas tipologías:
Estudios piloto: estudios preliminares a pequeña escala que evalúen la viabilidad de una intervención mayor. Pueden recibir ayudas de un máximo de 80.000 €. Su duración máxima será de 2 años.
Evaluaciones retrospectivas: propuestas que evalúan la efectividad y el impacto de intervenciones sanitarias existentes. Pueden recibir ayudas de un máximo de 150.000 €. Su duración máxima será de 2 años.
Nuevas intervenciones: propuestas que desarrollan y evalúan nuevas intervenciones sanitarias. Pueden recibir ayudas de un máximo de 300.000 €. Su duración máxima será de 3 años.
Los tres tipos de propuestas pueden llevarse a cabo de forma individual (una sola organización de investigación participante) o en consorcio (una organización de investigación y hasta cuatro organizaciones colaboradoras).

EP PerMed -Joint Transnational Call for CARdiovascular, MEtabolic, and kidNey diseases (CARMEN2026)
The European Partnership for Personalised Medicine, EP PerMed (supported by the European Union under Horizon Europe, Grant Agreement N° 101137129) has launched the joint transnational call 2026 (JTC2026) “Personalised Medicine for CARdiovascular, MEtabolic, and kidNey diseases” (acro-nym: CARMEN2026), co-funded by the European Union, to fund multinational, innovative research projects in personalised medicine (PM), which should bring together academic, clinical/public health and private research teams, thus enhancing the competitiveness in Europe and beyond in this field. The available budget for this call is 38 Mio. € (approx.).
Main Objective: Fund research in human health focusing on personalised medicine strategies for:
Cardiovascular diseases
Metabolic diseases
Kidney diseases
(Projects may address one disease or combinations of these.)
Eligible Research Topics Projects should address one or more of the following:
Personalised Therapeutic Approaches: Develop and validate innovative treatments using relevant pre-clinical models (e.g., organoids, organs-on-chips, disease-specific animal models, in silico models).
Treatment Monitoring: Identify and validate molecular markers or advanced technologies to monitor treatment response, optimise dosage, and assess adverse effects.
Risk Prediction and Prevention: Identify and validate stratifying markers or diagnostic tools for early risk prediction and prevention of disease progression or comorbidities.
Collaboration Requirements:
Interdisciplinary research: Include fields such as bioinformatics, health economics, ELSA (ethical, legal, social aspects), and implementation research.
Cross-sector collaboration: Engage private sector (SMEs, industry), regulatory agencies, and patient organisations.
Participatory research: Ensure active involvement of patients or citizens.
Recommended Research Approaches Projects are encouraged to integrate:
Multi-omics data (genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, etc.) linked to treatment outcomes.
Cutting-edge technologies: AI/ML, next-generation imaging, digital health tools.
Patient-related information: Medication, compliance, adverse effects, patient-reported outcomes.
Additional factors: Sex/gender, age, environment, lifestyle, nutrition.

EIC Work Programme 2026 - Pathfinder
The overall objective of the EIC Pathfinder for advanced research is to develop the scientific basis to underpin breakthrough technologies. It provides support for the earliest stages of scientific, technological or deep tech research and development. Pathfinder projects aim to build on new, cutting-edge directions in science and technology to disrupt a field and a market or create new opportunities by realising innovative technological solutions through:
EIC Pathfinder Open, open to support projects in any field of science, technology or application without predefined thematic priorities.

EIC Pathfinder Challenges, to support coherent portfolios of projects within predefined thematic areas with the aim to achieve specific objectives for each Challenge.
