Inflammatory and immune-mediated diseases

Transversal and multidisciplinary profile group focused on clinical and translational research of inflammatory and immune-mediated diseases, including autoinflammatory and autoimmune diseases. It promotes its own studies and participates in multicenter projects, both national and international, with observational and intervention designs. It has been promoter of clinical trials both funded and independent.

Research lines:

• Characterization of patients with systemic autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases in the Unit of Systemic Autoimmune Diseases of the HUN (UEAS-HUN).
• Promote and collaborate with clinical trials related to systemic or autoinflammatory autoimmune diseases.
• Clinical and prognostic characterization of autoimmune diseases in pregnancy and postpartum.
• Clinical characterization of patients with uveitis, scleritis, episcleritis and inflammatory ocular pathology treated at the (UEAS-HUN).
• Identification of risk markers for immunomediated toxicity in patients with cancer treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors.
