Oncología Médica Traslacional
The Translational Medical Oncology Unit focuses on developing research programmes that support the implementation of precision medicine in the field of medical oncology in Navarra. To this end, the unit integrates translational research, understood as the link between clinic and laboratory, and basic research, understood as the study of the biology that characterizes carcinogenesis and its progression. The unit is structured around three research areas, with a single central core: the cancer patient. The Unit has funding for all of them, thanks to scholarships awarded in national and local competitive calls.
