Biocomputing and Data Science
The Biocomputing and Data Science Unit at Navarrabiomed is dedicated to managing the access, storage, analysis, and interpretation of biomedical and health data, with the goal of transforming them into useful knowledge for research and clinical practice. To achieve this, the unit combines bioinformatics, biostatistics, artificial intelligence, and computational simulation techniques with a strong commitment to scientific collaboration.
Our efforts focus on:
- Integration and analysis of multi-omic data, developing proprietary methodologies and adapting or creating bioinformatics tools to address relevant questions in basic, translational, and clinical research.
- Design of advanced computational models, that leverage clinical, omic, and socioeconomic data to identify complex patterns, improve prognostics, and support decision-making.
- Implementation of computational infrastructure that enables research teams to manage and exploit their data securely and efficiently in complex environments.
